We’re Celebrating Our 30th Anniversary!
With the support of our Customers, Team Members and Vendor Partners we have been able to reach an incredible milestone; our 30th Anniversary in Business!
It all started in 1991, in the Mesa neighborhood in Santa Barbara, California. Ever since we first opened our doors, we have remained committed to offering the best natural and organic foods and products available to those seeking to live healthy and eat well.
Over the years, we have used our platform to partner with local nonprofits in fundraising efforts, invited our community in to learn how to make healthy dishes from scratch, and more.
We are especially grateful to our customers for the many years of support, as well as our Team Members, who over the years have shared their passion and enthusiasm for wellness and great food with the communities we serve.

Giving Back to Our Community
In April of this year, we joined the 1% for the Planet network to raise funds for our favorite sustainability-focused organizations through the sales of select Lazy Acres brand items. We are on track to raise nearly $10,000 for these organizations by March of 2022. For our anniversary, we have made additional donations to our 1% for the Planet Partner Organizations, as well as a few other organizations that are near and dear to us:
- $1,000 each to Grades of Green Grades of Green, The Rob Machado Foundation and The Balboa Park Conservancy. Learn more about our partnerships with these organizations through our 1% for the Planet membership here.
- $3,000 to The Student Garden Program at Capri Elementary in Encinitas.
- $1,000 each to The Santa Barbara Education Foundation and The Santa Barbara Community Environmental Council.
